Our Mission
The Northland Birth Network is an action-based, non-profit community organization of birth professionals and consumers who offer support, education and evidence-based information about normal birth practices as defined by the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services' Mother Friendly Birth Initiative and Lamaze Institute for Normal Birth's Six Care Practices That Support Normal Birth.  We serve families in Duluth, Minnesota, Superior, Wisconsin and the surrounding areas.

Monthly Meetings

Parent Information Night

  • The first Thursday of each month, 7 - 9 PM
  • Peace Church, located at 1111 North 11th Street, Duluth, MN
  • Free presentations for families to learn about pregnancy, birth and parenting as well as meet providers in the community.

Member Meetings

  • The third Tuesday of each month, 7 - 9 PM 
  • No Member Meetings for the summer.  Will resume with our Annual Meeting on September 21.
